I've got the skype unlimited package.. It cost me around $30 with unlimited calls to any US or canada number for 1 year. I've got myself a skype-in number too!!

Call Forwarding in Skype

For all you skype users!!!
Try the call-forwarding in Skype..I've set it up!! Anybody can call my skype id, if I'm not online the call is forwarded to my mobile.. It is FREE for anybody who calls me.. just like a skype-to-skype call. but it costs me!! So i'll b very choosy in picking up skype calls.. ;-)


FYI.. you need a Skype Out account to enable call forwarding...

My Best Friends Wedding... @ Aruppukottai

R, one of my good friends in college, got married last week... minus one from the dwindling list of bachelors in our group...

Well we, whoever is left in chennai, rather India, decided to attend the wedding...

N booked the tickets and me, N, P and Ra boarded the bus to Aruppukottai...

We reached there early morning, quickly freshened up and rushed off to the marriage hall...

The marriage and reception were over by 10:30..

and we didn't know wat to do the rest of the day...

We said our good byes to R and left the hall and started on our tour of the small town of aruppukottai.. in the hot sun (veyil). missed the first day, first show of veyil so decided to watch the matinee instead at the Ilayarani theatre... We had a lot of time to kill till 7 PM to take the bus back to chennai!!.. spent some time on a tea kadai bench, drank an impossibly oversized elani each...

Then by luck we found a browsing center.. whiling away time checking mail.. went to a restaurant and had lunch.. came back to the theatre and watched the movie..

Then back to the bus stop..

On the whole, it was fun to spend the day with college friends, sharing the same old camaraderie which never diminished after all these years!!
